I am an Integrative Counsellor specialising in trauma and abuse, childhood trauma and self esteem issues. As an Integrative Counsellor, I have a toolbox of therapeutic approaches, that can be tailored to each person's unique journey. I try to iffer a safe harbour where you can heal and feel empowered to meet lifes challenges with resilience and self assurance. With children I use play therapy and art. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion.

About me and my practice

As a counsellor, I will tailor our interactions to suit your specific needs. For children or a young person, this can mean play therapy, art or talking, depending on their age. I will always be led by the person or child in all the sessions we have.
I work in the beautiful Cheshire countryside and am always available for in person sessions. But zoom sessions are just as important and can work better for many people. Please feel free to phone me to discuss the options that are best for you.
Evening and weekend appointments are available.

Experience

I have been working with a variety of clients and their concerns since the height of the pandemic and can still remember the very first person I worked with.
I came in to counselling via fostering so my experience dealing with trauma and abuse proceeds my counselling journey. Which I think has helped enormously.

Qualifications

I originally did a Degree where I looked at development in children and how this impacted the adult. Then I did a Diploma in Counselling Practice. I am a registered member of the BACP.

Please phone 07773855896 to discuss your requirements. I offer a free 15 minute session so that we can get to know each other and so that you can decide if you think we can work together.

Fees

£45 for 50 minutes
£25 for half an hour (Children)
I offer a discount for counselling students

When I Work

I work mainly in the evenings (6pm to 9pm)but for a child who needs to come earlier (perhaps after school) I am sure we can arrange a suitable time.
